# Report a Listing Error

Updated October 29, 2026

In short

Wrong phone number, old hours, a closed business or a missing one? Tell us the page, what's wrong and how we can confirm it. We reply within two working days.

## Tell us what's wrong

## What happens next

We check every report against the source, such as the state license portal or the business's own listing. Simple fixes such as hours or a phone number usually go live within a few days. Businesses can [claim their profile](https://servicescoutlocal.com/claim/) to edit details themselves.

ServiceScout is free to use. We earn money from optional business upgrades, clearly labelled sponsored placements and, when you request a quote, from the businesses that receive it. None of these change how results are ordered.
