# Claim Your Free Business Listing

Your business is probably already on ServiceScout. Claim it to fix your details, add services and photos, and answer quote requests. It's free and takes about five minutes.

## How claiming works

Search for your business name and city.

### Claim

Tell us your name and role: owner, manager or marketing contact.

3.

### Verify

Get a code by phone call to the listed number, or by email at your business domain.

4.

### Edit

Fix your details, add services, hours, service areas and photos.

5.

### Upgrade

Optional: a quote form, a bigger gallery and lead tracking.

## Get started

Email claims@servicescoutlocal.com with your business name, city and the phone number on your listing (address to be confirmed before launch). Not listed yet? Adding your business is free too.

## Questions from business owners

### Is a claimed listing ordered higher?

No. Claimed and unclaimed listings get the same best-match score. A complete profile helps because completeness is one part of the score, and you can complete it for free.

### Which details can I edit after claiming?

Hours, services, service areas, photos and contact details. Ratings and record checks come from public sources and stay as they are.

### How do I add my insurance certificate?

Send it after you claim. It appears on your profile as a document from the business, with the date we checked it.
